some dreams live on in time forever
those dreams, you want with all your heart
and i will do whatever it takes
follow through with the promise i made
put it all on the line
what i hoped for at last would be mine
if i could reach,higher
just for one moment touch the sky
from that one moment in my life
i am gonna be stronger
know that i have tried my very best
i would put my spirit to the test
if i could reach
some days are meant to be remembered
those days we rise above the stars
so i will go the distance this time
seeing more the higher i climb
that the more i believe
all the more that this dream would be mine

Received feedback from some friends that my blog is turning out to be column-like. Wah,really? If that's the case then you guys must be my loyal fans =) Hmm,so can I snatch Sumiko Tan's rice bowl away then hehe :p No doubt her writing may have stayed stagnant for the past dunno-how-many years but work must be pretty fantastic when you are the features editor :p
Will you see my name in print one day? A secondary school English teacher once told me she hopes to buy my books in the future. That was a very nice compliment and I guess one of the best encouragement I've received. Alas,I will probably fail her. Think my writing is kinda going downhill =( Taking specialized writing in Chinese instead of its English counterpart tis sem is probably not going to help the situation heh... Oh well,if it's any consolation to my teacher, hopefully she had previously heard my news byline on air haha.
Today Catherine asked me how to find a primary school friend whom she has lost contact with. Apparently she dreamt that she was searching for this friend and she woke up just when she was about to. So she felt quite sad, poor sweetie... Luckily later she managed to locate the elusive person on Friendster. Guess many of us may have shared the same experience at one point or another. Wondering how someone from long ago is doing, the kind of life he/she is leading now...Well,if Friendster doesn't work for you, perhaps you can leave your contact details with the school. I'm quite sure they will help to call the person and relay the message. Must have some confidence in the school lah,it's like the least they can do for old girls and boys rite (^^)v
Went out with Xiuzi and Meiyi in the afternoon. A day out to celebrate Xiuzi's belated birthday but it ended up more like a shopping trip for us. The damage has certainly been done to our pockets. Girls will be girls haha. Yay,bought a babydoll top to wear to Xueling's wedding,so don't have to headache over what to wear now =) Then we went Ichiban Boshi for dinner before heading down to Olio Dome for dessert. Stayed till we were the last customers there haha. We saw this big group of people who appeared to be in their 30s. We figured it could be (1)a class gathering (2)a group of church-goers who managed to hang out from morning to night or (3)a group of singles out after an SDU activity.
P/S: the participants here ain't exactly on your best-looking people list oops... :p
It was quite freaky as we wondered whether our secondary school class will end up sitting at that same table some 10 years down the road, looking like some SDU members out on a dating session >.<" That better not happen,I'm swearing off all class outings le!
Anyway we had quite a fun time, sharing gossips and all the sex talk haha. Sashayed down Orchard road, snapping fotos with our camera phones, even the toilet at Wisma was not spared lolx...Yeah,sounds like three crazy single women to you? But with no relationship ups and downs,we are probably lugging less emotional baggage around. In a way,we are more carefree,we see the world in a different colour. We live life with a bit more of a hop,a jump and a skip.
The grass is definitely greener on our side haha. And maybe that's how life should be.
