These days,I am living and breathing FYP.
At least until I get crushed or suffocated by the weight of all the problems that I’m facing with it =(
So tired!!! Had been a long day. Went to school in the morning to meet supervisor to go through interim report,have to change a big bulk of it AGAIN. Arghhhh!!! Getting very sick of doing literature review already. Then got referred to another lecturer to discuss our sampling method. Was told that we are very ambitious haha,doing on such a big scale and trying to sample till a micro level when cluster sampling is good enough for an FYP >.<” Turns out that my supervisor has such high expectations of us,it is getting a bit unrealistic. It may be for our own good but it is also driving us nuts at the same time,sigh...
Discussion dragged on till late afternoon then had to rush off to Jiahui’s house. Luckily managed to make it,so rushed,phew! Dearie Jiahui going back to Oz,sobz sobz! =( Had two chance meetings at the airport and it’s Terminal 1,not exactly your most happening place to be bumping into familiar faces x_X First we met Jiahui’s ex-boyfriend,Jiaman who happened to be seeing another friend off. I couldn’t even recognize him after so long. He looks kinda different,like grown taller le haha...then also saw his new girlfriend heh...Then a few seconds later,met my friend Gerald, whose girlfriend was leaving on exchange program tonight. Was someone’s first meeting with the parents too,according to him. Hope everything went well and you left a good impression,dude!
So come to think of it,it’s almost like a mini reunion at the departure hall,what irony.
Sigh,starting to miss my best friend already. But time passes real quickly. Still remember the first time she left and tonight will be the last time before she returns for good next year. Does absence make the heart grow fonder? Given most people’s busy lifestyles these days,this saying no longer seems to hold true. Time and distance will definitely take their toil on relationships. It is a test of ties that were forged. Will they stay bonded or will they stray and loosen? Many of us will not want to take this test if possible. Deep in our hearts,somehow we know that we are not all that confident of passing the test...
So I’m really glad we’ve kept the connection going all these years. After all,there is something that even the widest ocean can’t take away – the comfort in knowing that the other always has a place in your heart.
