Okay, not the first time I’m listening to this drill from my supervisor and unfortunately it sounds the death toll for us to re-do our report again. OMG!!!!! >.<"
Wonder if all supervisors are brainwashing their charges with strange mantras getting them to sell their soul to the devil called FYP. Recall RV’s Mrs Look’s infamous pet phrase “short term sacrifice, long term gain”? It sees a replay in all institutions here. Work harder, work harder, you’ll be rewarded. How about a yummy carrot for you? Present in Beijing and Texas you know **dangles that elusive carrot in front of your face** Yes mdm, we know. And we’ll obey.
Squeezing deadlines into our schedule like mad. Totally forgotten that next week is Chinese New Year until Chin Wee was like “你們要回來向 CATI lab 拜年啊？”and gave me the incredulous look. Oops/....
Sigh, we are marathon runners, running against time. It’s close to the final lap now. Will we make it?
Sneezing like crazy after freezing in the IS-lab and CATI lab for the whole of yesterday and today. Hope I’m not falling sick soon =(
