some dreams live on in time forever
those dreams, you want with all your heart
and i will do whatever it takes
follow through with the promise i made
put it all on the line
what i hoped for at last would be mine
if i could reach,higher
just for one moment touch the sky
from that one moment in my life
i am gonna be stronger
know that i have tried my very best
i would put my spirit to the test
if i could reach
some days are meant to be remembered
those days we rise above the stars
so i will go the distance this time
seeing more the higher i climb
that the more i believe
all the more that this dream would be mine

Seldom, very seldom does complete truth belong to any human disclosure; seldom can it happen that something is not a little disguised,or a little mistaken.

Watched the wedding between Prince Charles and Camilia Parker Bowles on CNN. No pompous celebration but only a simple civil ceremony and church blessings. Yet it felt somewhat befitting of their age and current mood.
Interesting snippets included the likes of how plates, teacups, tea towels and shirts were done up for the event, with prices going up because the date printed on the assortment still indicated the original Friday 8th,before the postponement of the wedding. Also, girls were littering the streets as usual, with posters pleading for William and Harry to marry them and cheering (screaming) when the princes appeared. And how correspondent Richard Quest made the coverage all the more lighthearted with his street interviews, asking people to guess what Camilia would be wearing, which turns out to be no gown, but elegant dresses for both ceremonies.
Such is the entertainment value of news heh. Yes,there should be other focuses like the Marburg virus outbreak in Angola or anti-jap rioting in China.
Coincidentally,i'm reading a book, The Queen and I, at the moment. It's a fictitious story on what happens when the Republican government takes over one day and abolishes the monarchy, rendering a commoner status to the Queen and the royal family. Since the setting was back in 1992,of course Charles’ wife in the story was still Diana hah.
Yeah, okay ‘nuff of me here. Going to read my book. And study lah hah.
