some dreams live on in time forever
those dreams, you want with all your heart
and i will do whatever it takes
follow through with the promise i made
put it all on the line
what i hoped for at last would be mine
if i could reach,higher
just for one moment touch the sky
from that one moment in my life
i am gonna be stronger
know that i have tried my very best
i would put my spirit to the test
if i could reach
some days are meant to be remembered
those days we rise above the stars
so i will go the distance this time
seeing more the higher i climb
that the more i believe
all the more that this dream would be mine

I’m back!
Yeap, after 7 days of fun in Taiwan. Got lots to share. About the place, the people, the food, the shopping etc. But first, thanks for the good company babes. Been so fun bunking together every night hehe. All our quirky bedroom habits revealed. :p Start saving up for more trips in the future!
We visited most of the key attractions on the island, having traveled long and far around the island,to Taipei, Hualien, Taitung, Kaoshiung, Taichung and back to Taipei again. Sat on the coach till our bums hurt, and the coach had to swerve through all the mountainous roads half the time. Luckily none of us had motion sickness. o_O
Food and lodging were quite decent,at least I don’t have any complaints lah. The night markets and streets were a tad disappointing though. Maybe Shi Zi Lu Kou with Jacky and guys made the places look too good so all of us had high expectations haha. Then it rained while we were there so some stalls weren’t set up. But at least we always managed to buy some food back for supper so that we can munch and channel surf the 100++ channels that they offer in our hotel rooms every night. Lurve the telly there.
Shopping was baad cuz the things there are sooooo ex!!! Most of their clothes, bags and shoes cost above S$50. The nicer ones are like above S$100. That’s the norm,so we really had to look hard for good bargains. Compared some prices: A pair of S$20++ Charles and Keith shoes cost about S$60 there, while an MNG bag that I bought for S$30 here cost S$45 there. Eeeks. Makes you appreciate the shopping in Singapore a lot more haha.
Anyway,it’s nice to be back. But boy,is it hot back here!! Shall talk more about what happened on the trip in the next few days if I have the time :) Stay tuned!
