some dreams live on in time forever
those dreams, you want with all your heart
and i will do whatever it takes
follow through with the promise i made
put it all on the line
what i hoped for at last would be mine
if i could reach,higher
just for one moment touch the sky
from that one moment in my life
i am gonna be stronger
know that i have tried my very best
i would put my spirit to the test
if i could reach
some days are meant to be remembered
those days we rise above the stars
so i will go the distance this time
seeing more the higher i climb
that the more i believe
all the more that this dream would be mine

Xiuzi,Meiyi and I went to Chinatown yesterday to pay the balance for our trip and to attend the tour briefing. Turned out our group has 18 members now. Among the crowd, there were two hilarious beh beh (slang for old uncles), a kan cheong auntie, a lady who dresses a bit 70s-ish and a girl who looks a lot like my friend in orchestra section back in JC (I only remembered my friend’s name is Liling when I came home). Hmm,looks like quite an okay bunch of people so far hehe. Then we went OG to look at suitcases. Xiuzi’s still undecided whether to get one for the trip or not. Followed by Swensens for dinner. Thought it was kinda like a belated birthday celebration for Meiyi though pressie given earlier and all. But it was fun all the same as we discussed whether we should take up yoga classes. Lets see, recap some of the advantages that we came up with:
8 Reverse ageing (look 70 when you’re 100!) 8Better posture and flexibility 8 Rejuvenation of our mental state after being tortured by bosses 8Possible ability to grow an inch or two (I don’t mind leh!!) 8 Being better in bed perhaps (What if the guy practices too, would we be doing POWER yoga then? Haha, hell we are so crazy.)
Then we headed down to Far East Square for drinks and dessert. There was a weekend flea market, and some happening senior citizens were singing karaoke while others took part in line dancing. Oh,then there was a Mister Singapore pageant going on too. The winner looks a tad like Jerry Yen (the F4 guy with long hair) from where we were standing outside the glass door.
We went to Oosters, very dark place with only floating candles on the tabletops. Nice ambience.
Their specialty is apparently this Mussel pot dish, with 1kg worth of mussels in soup. Too bad we were too full to try, kept eyeing the couple opposite us eating haha. Got this pix from the web.
Looks so good eh? **drools** Okay! We shall try it next time! Yup and the fruit beers too heh……
