some dreams live on in time forever
those dreams, you want with all your heart
and i will do whatever it takes
follow through with the promise i made
put it all on the line
what i hoped for at last would be mine
if i could reach,higher
just for one moment touch the sky
from that one moment in my life
i am gonna be stronger
know that i have tried my very best
i would put my spirit to the test
if i could reach
some days are meant to be remembered
those days we rise above the stars
so i will go the distance this time
seeing more the higher i climb
that the more i believe
all the more that this dream would be mine

Seldom, very seldom does complete truth belong to any human disclosure; seldom can it happen that something is not a little disguised,or a little mistaken.

Hey Zhiyun gal,in case you are still feeling a bit down about our application thingy, don’t be k. Got many many more chances one yah. And I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to begin with,if it weren’t for you too. Still apprehensive about going there alone. Hope both you and Hazel will hear something from them too. Else I’ll go take all the kookoo tests and tell you all about it k. ;)
Anyway,I received an email from Cat around this time n hey,it seems quite apt for us,the work sourcing people.
So this story is going out to all of you. Just something to think about.
A group of working adults got together to visit their University lecturer. The Lecturer was happy to see them. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.
The Lecturer just smiled and went to the kitchen to get an assortment of cups - some porcelain, some in plastic, some in glass, some plain looking and some looked rather expensive and exquisite. The Lecturer offered his former students the cups to get drinks for themselves.
When all the students had a cup in hand with water, the Lecturer spoke: "If you noticed, all the nice looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal that you only want the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.
What all you wanted was water, not the cup, but we unconsciously went for the better cups."
"Just like in life, if Life is Water, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold/maintain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change."
"If we only concentrate on the cup, we won't have time to enjoy/taste the water in it."
