some dreams live on in time forever
those dreams, you want with all your heart
and i will do whatever it takes
follow through with the promise i made
put it all on the line
what i hoped for at last would be mine
if i could reach,higher
just for one moment touch the sky
from that one moment in my life
i am gonna be stronger
know that i have tried my very best
i would put my spirit to the test
if i could reach
some days are meant to be remembered
those days we rise above the stars
so i will go the distance this time
seeing more the higher i climb
that the more i believe
all the more that this dream would be mine

Seldom, very seldom does complete truth belong to any human disclosure; seldom can it happen that something is not a little disguised,or a little mistaken.

Still reeling from the effects of an overdose of new knowledge. Trying to absorb and digest a lot of concepts. The international trade module today was an absolute killer. :( While I feel taking a mix of politics, economics and literature modules would provide a more all-rounded experience in this course,it's painfully tedious to study Greek half the time since I didn't major in any of them for my previous degree. You have to put in twice the effort and time to go through everything.
I guess that's what our undergraduate experience does to us. It makes us so specialised in a field that our scope of things around us inevitable gets narrower. So now in a way,it's like a wake-up call. Like these are the things that really matter and which makes the world go round. And hello, what the hell have I been doing? Probably cooped up in my own lala land and being contented with studying a particular field. In which case, ignorance is certainly not bliss! Give yourself a pat on the back if you've kept yourself abreast of developments in most areas all these while. Don't freak out if you haven't (I'm telling myself that too). There's always a time to start. So why not make it now?
Okay, enough of my rattlings. Snapped some pics of my new environment. The main HSS is located at S3.2 but my lessons are at S3.1. It's a new building so everything's new haha.
Welcome to my world! Life behind these doors begins after 6....
There's this big TV behind the door. But the thing is,it doesn't show anything! Haha,it only tells what are the classes in session in the seminar rooms along the corridors. >.<"
The seminar room where we have our lessons. The view from my seat. Ladies usually occupy the highest bench. :p Always looks this messy after the earlier Managerial Econs class. And we were told mainly mayors and ministers are in that programme. How come they can't keep the place cleaner??
The graduate lounge for us to relax or eat dinner if you've brought your takeaways.
There's this pantry corner in the lounge. We heard there's food in the cupboards but why are they under lock and key??!!
Big and roomy discussion rooms.
Yeah,so the above is my second home now. Guess that's where a part of our school fees goes to ;)
Have other stuff to blog about but too tired now. Next time maybe. Come to think of it,mainly just school-related stuff these days lah. I'm going to bore people around here hehe.
Glad it's the weekend. Need to let my hair down a little. You enjoy yours too :)
