some dreams live on in time forever
those dreams, you want with all your heart
and i will do whatever it takes
follow through with the promise i made
put it all on the line
what i hoped for at last would be mine
if i could reach,higher
just for one moment touch the sky
from that one moment in my life
i am gonna be stronger
know that i have tried my very best
i would put my spirit to the test
if i could reach
some days are meant to be remembered
those days we rise above the stars
so i will go the distance this time
seeing more the higher i climb
that the more i believe
all the more that this dream would be mine

Taking a break from work. Thought I’ll do a short recap of Friday's happenings. *rewinds the tape in my head*
Met Qiyun on Friday night at Fosters after my lessons. So glad to see the babe back from her KL internship, welcome back to SG. :) Got to meet two of her lovely young cousins too. Thanks for the pressie dear. By the way, our discussion on personality types still has me trying to figure out which is mine!
And if anyone was wondering, my session with my diss supervisor earlier in the day went fabulously well. :)
Hmm, come to think of it, it’s the second time this week that I’m chatting with professors. It’s getting a little too much for me.
Time spent in supe’s office was a whopping one and a half hrs. We pretty much talked about my research plans for the first half hour and the rest was spent chatting. It’s almost like we’ve known each other for some time already. We talked about hobbies, about our families, about the course, and even about my future plans like do I want to pursue a PhD? If it wasn’t because I had to grab dinner and visit the library before my class, we could probably have talked till the cows come home.
Quite incredible even when I think back now. But couldn’t possibly hope for things to turn out any better than it did. So I feel fortunate in a way. Still, like all relationships, a working relationship takes effort on both sides to maintain.
Eventually, only time will tell the nature of your relationship.
