There is a place in the east of Singapore called Bedok.
Duh,like everyone knows that right haha. But it was my first time there today! Brought my lappie to see John the wonderful IT doc on the other side of Singapore. Yep,a check-up shows that my lappie is in an unhealthy state. And the freakiest thing that can happen to an IT dummy is a cranky computer. I’m such a bad owner,don’t know how to take care of it. It was pretty much left on its own to fend off viruses and stuff. Poor lappie is probably overworked too,its working hours almost adding up to my waking hours. But it’s on its road to recovery now,so happy :)
Anyway since I was at Bedok,might as well open my eyes to see see and look look around. The place feels a lot like Ang Mo Kio back in the JC days, a little déjà vu there. I marvel at how I can hop on a plane and travel to other countries but yet there are so many places in Singapore that I haven’t been to yet. It’s like we are always frequenting that few spots and I will honestly make a lousy local guide. Eeeps,in fact think I still owe my Norwegian classmate a sightseeing weekend,uh-oh. But guess I will just take on the role of a fellow tourist because I think there's definitely a lot more I can get to know about my own country. ;)
