some dreams live on in time forever
those dreams, you want with all your heart
and i will do whatever it takes
follow through with the promise i made
put it all on the line
what i hoped for at last would be mine
if i could reach,higher
just for one moment touch the sky
from that one moment in my life
i am gonna be stronger
know that i have tried my very best
i would put my spirit to the test
if i could reach
some days are meant to be remembered
those days we rise above the stars
so i will go the distance this time
seeing more the higher i climb
that the more i believe
all the more that this dream would be mine

Seldom, very seldom does complete truth belong to any human disclosure; seldom can it happen that something is not a little disguised,or a little mistaken.

Got back a lit asgn tonight. Scribbled at the bottom of the asgn was a paragraph with my prof’s comments on it. She ended off saying I write well and should consider a career in writing.
I thought it was very kind of my prof to say that. But beyond that, I don’t quite know what to feel. It left me for a moment, a little lost, a little empty inside.
Sure,I love to write for fun, I like to pen thoughts down. But serious writing as a career is still something that seems beyond my grasp. Journalistic writing just isn’t the same too,as much as it’s still a potential rice bowl for me. It is not something I haven’t thought about before but it is something that requires courage to some extent if you want to pursue it. I guess I’m not taking that step and I don’t see myself taking that step any time in the near future. Why you may ask? I don’t even know the answer myself. Perhaps it’s because I’ve seen so many people who write a whole lot better than myself, so yes I don't think my writing's any good. Maybe some form of a trigger is needed, or just lots of encouragement. Or a sign from above giving me a direction.
So before that, I’ll be contented doing what I do for plain self-gratification purposes. Like writing here. And poor you gotta read my rambling notes. Probably seem a little narcissistic at times haha but hey I think all bloggers have a bit of that in them (and non-bloggers too :p ).
It's hard to say where writing will lead me. Somewhere...nowhere... We'll see.
i always thought u write very well and always thought u would grow up to be a journalist or a writer, maybe the writer bit is a bit fluff now. maybe that can be a side line. hehe. but, maybe u want to try other stuff first. there will be a sign for u....:)
