some dreams live on in time forever
those dreams, you want with all your heart
and i will do whatever it takes
follow through with the promise i made
put it all on the line
what i hoped for at last would be mine
if i could reach,higher
just for one moment touch the sky
from that one moment in my life
i am gonna be stronger
know that i have tried my very best
i would put my spirit to the test
if i could reach
some days are meant to be remembered
those days we rise above the stars
so i will go the distance this time
seeing more the higher i climb
that the more i believe
all the more that this dream would be mine

“Grief is a most peculiar thing; we’re so helpless in the face of it. It’s like a window that will simply open of its own accord. The room grows cold, and we can do nothing but shiver. But it opens a little less each time, and a little less; and one day we wonder what has become of it... ...”
A description I came across some weeks back. A part by Sayuri in Memoirs of a Geisha.
At that time,I thought it was a very beautiful analogy. Today,I came to feel it rather acutely.
When you learn to put something down and come to terms with it, the sadness you feel lessens with each touch of the memory.
It seems that the void is slowly closing. That the time to heal has come.
