Been busy with work these days. Really tired! :( But in the process I re-discovered a model of communication. That is,when everyone’s staying up to do assignments,my classmates and I will do the sms or msn thing simultaneously ---- freaking out over the amount of work, discussing what we think the instructions are asking for, complaining about the workload, stressing over how we think we are going to bust the deadline or for the most part of it just cheering each other on.
Not sure if any of you finds it familiar because I did! Reminded me of the old uni days! And it’s a very heartwarming feeling. Although we were there rushing work like mad,it was actually fun to be messaging at the same time. To know that you are not alone and having someone to spur you on in ‘Mission Impossible’ times like these helps to lift the gravity of the situation off our shoulders. Like how everyone conspires and agrees that at most if we can’t finish, we will mass request for extension the next day hahaha. I thought perhaps this model of communication has yet to be really studied but it truly does bond people together in the most interesting and meaningful way. It’s like dialing a 1800-I-NEED-HELP line that you know will be open for you. After all if people in the same boat do not watch out for each other,who will right? ;)
