Long day out yesterday. Haven’t had any activities on Sat nights for quite some time since full day classes started in July. Would rather head home, curl up and watch telly or sleeeeeeep. High levels of concentration in class gives me this burnt out syndrome at the end of the day. But somehow I’ve got crazy peeps who were energetic enough to plan activities after their class in the morning. How unfriendly haha. Some of them had KTV in the afternoon and I could only join Peiqing,Waimeng and Wanting for dinner in the evening after my own class, hungry and all fuzzy-brained. Oh,was lugging a big dictionary too. Didn’t help that we had to walk some distance to our destination. Made me all the hungrier haha.
Was fotog for the evening,remembered Wendy wanted to visit the place too,so this post is for you babe! You need a relatively sharp eye to spot the place and there is quite a bit of construction going on in the area currently. Shaping up to be quite a cool area though. There’s a rooftop garden for hotel guests and the restaurant patrons so we chilled out for a while there before dinner.
The food was pretty good but we only tried the pasta section of the menu. Reasonable portions and we ordered to share. The best part was the dessert haha and I actually forgot to snap pics of them *smacks forehead*. Was too engrossed in the conversation when the dessert came I think cuz Catriona came and joined us around that time. We tried their famous deconstructed strawberry cheesecake and the dark lava molten choc gateau. Sinfully good.
Overall not a bad place, wouldn’t mind heading back a second time. The service was good,the waiters made it a point to note down the individual’s order and they passed the water refilling test hehe. Notice how services at a lot of places are going downhill these days? Probably an inevitable thing when a place gets increasingly more popular,tsk.
However regrettably the restaurant is small so it is pretty much for meals but you can’t quite hang around for chats as there is like a queue waiting outside. You could always head back up to the rooftop though. But anyhow,there are good stuff elsewhere. We went to eat the famous super smooth Rochor tau huey! By then can imagine I was like how shagged. o_O I think they can go on till late at night if I’m not like going to KO already. Signs of rapid ageing haha. Tired,happy,tired,happy. An odd kind of mood to be in but yet the best kind to head off to dreamland in. ;)
